as suggested that he actually has some pace, to the great amusement of many people), and I thought that that was quite right, it's clear, thought I, that he has all the pace and agility of a supertanker.

But!

There was one moment at Scunthorpe on Saturday, when he was chasing one of thier players back into City's left-back position, when f**k me if he wasn't really really rapid. What the f**k is all that about? Real genuine pace. You could have knocked me down with a feather.
