well, we have plenty of centre backs

but how many proper midfielders do we have in midfield? Safri/Jarret/Hughes/Francis. Safri & Jarrett have been injury prone in the last year and Francis's committment is questionable. Central midfield is teh most important area of the pitch and I'd certainly want a lot more depth there before I added another CB (we have four - five if you include Colin - that ought to be enough!!!)
