Birmingham don't want to extend but slap a figure on his head matching the fee offered bya club he has no intention of going to.

We'll *lose* him when he signs for QPR, someone else or stays put at Birmingham. But given we're not going up or down this season (let's face it), I would rather the club tried to get the best deal first.
