am not. We need another attacking midfielder but i cannot beleive that we have yet to sign a central defender. What is going on? The defence last season was an absolute disaster, and yes we are going to be playing against lesser oposition but the Flem/ Shack partnership will still leak plenty of goals in the Championship. We were linked strongly with Darren Ward at the begginning of June so Worthy must be looking for one surely? To not sign a decent centre back is madness imo, especially with the transfer window affecting the Championship now.

I also find it strange how at the end of the season the majority of people who use this board were banging on about how the defence is the priority to strengthen, but now many seem content with what we have. Seeing the Eastwood easily shrugging off the Doc against Southend does not fill me with confidence in him either.

A new, decent centre back must be signed before the start of the season or i fear that we may be like the scum next season in scoring goals for fun but not being able to keep them out either, and that my friends will cost us promotion (ask Ipswich).
