I'm not bothered if they are not ball playing centre halves, how many at this level are?
In this league you need the CB's to be decent defenders, willing to make tackles at get the body on the line which both do.
If they can't pass you adapt. We did this with mullers/Malky. Malky couldn't pass, which is why mullers dropped deep to collect the ball from him.
We have that again now in fozzy.
SO you let doc/shack defend, then get fozzy to move in to take the ball and look to do something with it.
