Sir Bobby Robson is a national treasure. I couldn't give a toss that he managed Ipswich: his enthusiasm and passion is unbelievable, and his record pretty darn good too. So many people take the attitude that "it was better in my day" as they get old, but not Bobby: the game's changed out of all recognition since he was playing, and he was undermined by the Brat Pack in his final year or so at Newcastle - yet I couldn't imagine him ever saying a bad word about anyone. The man's an absolute legend, and my favourite footballing figure of all time.
