I guess you're right to say that I make/laugh at jokes that some people would be offended by. That is true, and I probably shouldn't.

However, I suppose that the way I see it is that your jungle drums joke wasn't just a joke that SOME people might be offended by. It wasn't anywhere near the line. It was just appalling, to be honest. ANY right minded person would have been offended by it.

You may say that I'm "clinging to" this because I don't want to lose a WOTB argument, but I don't see it that way. It's totally clear to me that that was unacceptable: was then, is now, and forever more shall be. Not on, full stop.

You seem aggrieved that other people get away with "the same thing". I missed NCFC4life's joke you mention; I would have squawked at that had I seen it. But I don't think there is much which is "the same thing" - ie blatantly, totally, unacceptable. So the Mo Bear jokes - fine with me. Not in the same league at all.
