Football debts

I understand that if Coventry City do not pay their football debts in full, ie wages to players, transfer fees, etc, they stand to lose their league membership. So it is in their interests to pay up for any outstanding fees to us.

So when the scum owed us around £100 for program sales when they went into administration a few years ago, if they had not paid us, this rule would have applied to them. If we had been the program printers, we would have received £5.

They also legged over George Burley as he was owed a fortune in severance payments after they sacked him, but as he left the club and was a creditor, as opposed to a football creditor he potentially may have received much less than he was due. I say potentially as I don’t know what agreement he came to with the scum after they went into admin.

I’m sure this is correct – happy to be put right by anyone who knows these rules better than I do.
