To make a profit on the debt he only has to enforce more of it than he paid for it

plus the cost of carrying the capital invested in acquiring it

Basically, if his £12m can get them up (and we all know how tricky that is), he has the chance to divert the cash which would otherwise be invested in the squad into his own pockets. If he can't get them up, he's got some tricky decisions to make.

Unless he is a REAL fan with REAL love for the club and is just prepared to throw cash at it, then this could get very interesting
