Where Did I Say It Was His Fault?
We had to lay a centre half at right back!
If it had been anyone else playing so out of position, it would have been the same, thats what made the defence vulnerable, not the fact it was Doc, and that is what Stoke would have looked at and thought they might have got something out of it, as in, get down the right side, the lad there is normally a centre back and he might get turned easily/done for pace/get drawn inside etc etc...
It is not a criticism of Doc, more a comment upon a defensive weakness there.
