Well it's early days

and Plymouth was so f**king awful that we had a major sulk and sent back the Blackpool tickets and gave the Stoke ones away, but it does seem promising.
Only based on one viewing but he does seem to have a surer hand in the transfer market than either of his predecessors and the tactics seem simple and everyone plays more or less in their right position.
What pleased me against Coventry was that having got the lead we carried on playing and tried to get a second, and then a third. By all accounts that's what happened last night at 1-1 whereas in the past I'm sure we'd have tried to hang on for the point.
When we looked at these 2 away games we reckoned that 2 points would be an acceptable return, and 3 would be good so anything on Saturday will be a bonus. But we aren't going.
