i am really impressed with roader
1.not only does he come across as honest and straight talking (damage to players confidence under grant, some characters need moving on size of task, lewis should have had a return clause)
2,he also knows what we need (decent cb, creative midfielder etc)
3. he gets decent players with experience if necessary who do the job required staright away
4. he knows his players and what they need to improve(recent comments about chadwick and shaks)
5. he is determind to play good football not panic longball
6. his contacts pay off. if we get pattison for near nowt what a bargain (now his contract is nearly up thats a steal!)
or am i hopelessly optomistic?
