its just for me the hunger seems to have evaporated at so many levels. I just have grave concerns about club overiding country in a similar way that the status of the FA Cup has been eroded.
I keep thinking that perhaps I have reached a rose tinted spectacle wearing age and maybe players didnt actually bust a gut whilst i watched from the Barclay terracing.
Perhaps being a proud ex member of the armed forces has made me uber patriotic but surely representing your Country should be the ultimate accolade
When 18 year old mediocre kids earn say 20 grand a month this has got to impact on their hunger. Why should they put themselves through pain when they can live a lifestyle without hurting.
