Don't you think the authorities should be much more interested in the traffickers

Than a pair of 16 year-olds, though? Sure, their defence is probably bollocks - but this is happening more and more now. Teenage girls in North London being targeted by traffickers; and many of them have so little hope, are already involved in trouble, with friends in prison, etc, that they happily take the risk given the money that's on offer.

It's SOCIETY that is to blame for this, in other words - but do we address it? No: we just slag off a couple of teenagers instead.
