So, anyone going to use TNT to send stuff from A to B ?

Not many people seem to have noticed (or even care in the general media hysteria) that they actually lost the infamous discs. And they have a growing reputation, certainly in my office, for doing it on a regular basis. But as civil servants we are told who to use, and they will usually be the ones who bid the least for the contract. That is done to satisfy the taxpayer, of course. The same taxpayer who expects the best of everything from government and civil service....
As is the imminent cull of 10,000 jobs out of the 27,000 of us who actually deal in procurement and supply to UK forces. So expect a few more 'missing body armour' stories imminently.
