Depending on your speed you may get offered a 'speed awareness course'
I'd say take it.
It costs but is likely to be cheaper than the total cost of fine plus addition to insurance, especially over the length of time it'll be on your licence for.
Takes most of a day, but its fairly easy. Morning of 'classroom' stuff which requires little involvement, then a few hours driving with an instructer.
That's quite useful as they'll pull you up on a few bad habits. Some you can ignore, but i've made a couple of helpful changes to my driving from that.
