why I hate Ipswich - different take

Somebody down the Board has posted something on this subject using a user posted link which is a fairly mild criticism of everything Norwich, but not that awful.

As many on this Board know, the other teamin my life is Hearts and at the moment Hearts fans are having to undergo all sorts of abuse from Green and White s**te on how they're better than us in all pretty predictable ways. So why would I hate Ipswich even more than Fester Road's "finest".

Number 1 Hibs might be s**te, but they are in fact very well run, turnng in an operating profit year on year, and producing a string of excellent young players through their youth system. They owe nobody anything and certainly haven't fobbed off creditors at 5p in the £ at any time. Nor do they blag on about how well run they are and shouldn't everybody copy them.

Contrast this with down the road, where the sheer brass kneck of Sheepshagger is beyond any belief, and where they seem too happy to wave their new wad in the faces of the small businesses who no doubt have struggled to stay in business (or gone under) since the "settlement". That they are prepared to take anybody's money is self evident, and quite frankly I WOULD be very suspicious of this apparent investement, welcome as it may superficially be.

There was a post yesterday from a Scummer saying that they wouldn't have to pay any more money back to creditors "because it's the law". Undoubtedly true, but whatever happened to basic decency? And that's the crux of this argument. Ipswich Town FC, under the tutelage of Sheepshagger, has no decency and is prepared to go to any lengths, in my view, to preserve the being of Sheepshagger and bugger the rest.

I have to admit, that in days gone by, they were run by gentlemenn (and ladies) but now they have now in the words of Robert Burns become "a parcelm of rogues in a nation".

So I hate them, not because of their new investment, not because they are local rivals because as John Bond's Ghost said, you need them, not because they seem to be followed by a gang of morons (lets face it some of ours ain't that good and some of theirs are quite decent).

No, I hate them because they are a monument to double standards and disingenuousness, and I hope we give them a f**king hiding on Sunday.
