.....and so they should be. 4th place in the table, miles ahead of us and performing quite well by all accounts. However, if City play their cards right by naming nearly everyone's first choice of manager on Thursday, someone who will already have studied the X-rated DVD's of City's recent games and quietly acquainted himself with the positives and negatives of the current squad, the ingredients may just be there for a surprising encounter on Sunday next.
We have some dodgy players at the moment, of that there is no doubt, but we also have three or four who on their day are infinitely superior to anyone Town have on their books. So, a new boss (the right one), players playing in their favoured positions and a modicum of instant tactical awareness might just see Ipswich disappearing with their tails between their legs. It's a funny old game Saint!
