If you honestly think a club can survive on footballing income alone, you ought to be watching on a park at this point in time on a Sunday morning. Also, when that local pub team comes round selling tickets for a Christmas raffle , I trust you'll tell them to concentrate on footballing matters and not non-footballing commercial matters. Same principle, different scale.

Not a utopian scenario for a fan, I freely admit, but welcome to 21st century football as a business.
