Expectations....

I find this topic a strange one and cant quite put my finger where we should be/are...

On one side we are a struggling regional club, with no money, a debt and a very poor team. We are really looking at being a mid table chamionship team and should be happy with the odd flirtation with the play offs. We should not expect big name players and managers vecause we are far fropm an attractive proposition.

On the other side, we are the only club proffesional club within a 50 mile radius of ourselves, we have a massive fan base which should continue to grow as our fan catchment area is huge compared to many clubs (look how many clubs are around Burnley/Preston/Leeds/Sheffield etc). We continue to attract attendances over 20k and have the stadium and fan base at least 6-8 premier league clubs would be extremley happy with. Our training facilities are first class. With a little bit of investment (which is spent wisely) we should be competing at the top end of this division/bottom end of the prem.

Now, how do potential managers players view us?? If it is side B then there is no reason why Jewell would turn us down, however its side A hes never going to come here.

Are our expectations to high? Are they to low?

I for one havent got a clue
