Statement from the Board-

"In the end, it was easy to give the job to Jim. The exciting first half hour or so against a Bristol City side that, only 32 years ago was playing in the first division of English football, followed by a plucky 2-1 defeat against a resurgent Burnley gives us all hope for the future and we are confident that Jim, together with Gunny and Gossy can get us back to our rightful position of mid table obscurity in the Coca Cola Championship, where we, little old Norwich, continue to fight above our weight with the 'big boys' of Wolves, Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday..."
