Just back from game....
Might get a t-shirt made tomorrow - 'I was there when Brown scored'!
Awful first 2 minutes, we made Burnley look good. Defensively we are inept.
Marshall did ok in goal - wasn;t much he could do about either goal.
Ostemobor - I liked him when he first arrived and thought he looked a very good player - worryingly we now seem to have coached that early promise out of him.
Shackell and Murray don't look a defensive unit or pairing.
Lappin - is he one of those utility players that eventually you realise is just s**t everywhere?
Chadwick - looked lively down the right and tackled back.
Russell - huffs and puffs but can't pass to a yellow shirt and never seems to be where the play is.
Spillane - put himself about a bit but drifted out of the game too much
Huckerby - when he plays well we play well - still our only threat
Strihavka - looks bigger than at start if season - never looked like scoring.
Brown - most ineffective I've seen him - then he scores!
Subs - Hartson - made a difference when he came on - doesn't move much but has a happy knack of getting into the right position - held ball up well and laid it off effectively - impossible to knock off ball
Cureton - should have scored and looked lively
Smith - not on long but looked enthusiastic and played with a bit of passion.
Could/should have snatched a draw.
Burnley fans - unbelievably quiet - I think most missed the first 2 minutes and thought they lost 1-0!
