The thing about truely supporting a team..
is that you need to go through the bad times, to appreciate the good times.
I've supported City since 1972, when Iwent to my first game as a 5 year old, sneaking through the gate cos my granddad knew the stewards, and then sitting on the concrete steps. I have seen amazing highs, going to Munich and Milan, as well as two cup finals, and deep lows.....like today.
I don't really have a deep and meaningful point to make here, but I think truely supporting a team is about the yin and the yang of the good times and bad.
I will never understand glory chasers, who switch teams when the going gets tough.
