Reid and Wilkinson - good managers in their day - a long time ago, and Robson - awful manager who had an open chequebook when at boro (at a time not many teams spent anywhere near that sort of money - maybe Blackburn) and stayed up with the lowest points tally ever at West Brom - further amplifying our failure that season.

In our situation, at championship level and at this time of the season experience is important. I would put money on the likes of Joe Royle keeping us up.

They got it seriously wrong with the appalling Grant last time, fell for his waffle at an interview.

There were many good candidates last time, there are even more now. If it is true they are interviewing Goddle then they are probably on the way to ballsing it up yet again.
