Happy with in on desk top and laptop

both dual core and 2GB memory. Turning off the sidebar seems to give a significant speed boost.

Main problem is continuing lack of drivers/compatibility upgrades. I also get frequent IE7 crashes when using Flash applications.

I agree wholehearteadly with the comments about not being able to authorise startup programs permanently. The desktop PC runs 24 hours and has cameras attached. It sometimes reboots in the middle of the night when there are windows updates, which is fine, but the camera monitoring software can't restart without manual approval. The all or nothing approach to user security is over the top and encourages people to turn it off altogether.
