Manager-Joe Royle. Make it for the short term. Experienced in this situation. Got excellent results on a shoestring budget.
No. 2-Paul Ince. Make him the manager in waiting. Learn the trade from Royle. If he's ready next year then take over. If not, Royle can stay on. We seem incapable of attracting quality players to the club. Ince gives you somewhat of a magnet in that regard with his playing credentials and experience. Plus an inroad with Fergie and a lot of possible loan talent.
1st team Coach-Crook. Perfect way to ease him back into English football. Fans get their legend connection and the team gets some emphasis on actual passing of the ball.
