i thought his comment on the offside trap was interesting

1. Showed some players either a) dont understand the basics
b) or felt it was acceptable to let down all the supporters to manipulate a situation to get what they want

but also that grant had to go. the players clearly shafted him. but he gave them the opportunity and reason.
