just to whet your appetites a little....

....was just talking to spurs fan here re Marney. Said his two main attributes are:
(1) He runs at defenders - and is deceptively fast
(2) Apparently the boy can tackle. Hard.

Now in a midfield already containing Hucks, I would have thought (2) in a RM would be veery useful. But also sounds like he'll do his share of attacking.

I really would like us to get this one. But have a horrible fear that by announcing our interest before it's sewn up, one of Sunderland, Wigan or particularly West Ham (they are Spurs seem to basically share squads) will express an interest......
