But also agree with Worf55's excellent post below: it's the fact that we always seem to be such a soft touch that's the real problem. In any case, it's further evidence that Grant really WAS the cheap option: Doncaster's argued over email that he wasn't, because we clearly had to pay West Ham compensation - but oh look, turns out we could get him for free after all...
