Farage is a racist bastard

I actually know UKIP's founder, Alan Sked, pretty well. He set it up as a principled anti-EU party, and was very careful to stay well away from narrow minded NF types who might try and get involved. But since he stood down as leader, that's precidely the direction they've gone in: at the last election, there was a tacit agreement between UKIP and the BNP that the former would fight seats in the south, the latter those in the north.

And then, unbelievably, they elected Farage too: Sked's told me more than a few tales about him. So Alan now campaigns openly against UKIP - and I hope they are humiliated, whenever the election is called.
