said that there is not enough money for any permanent transfers come January? I missed that.
As to why not all that money is now available - well, in the winter of 2005/6 Worthington was unsackable because we didn't have enough money to get rid of him, let alone bring a new man in. Perhaps the board don't want to be in that position again.
