Last night
Cannot believe that some people are trying to make out that last night saw some kind of shoots of recovery. This was a must win game where the managers future was a stake at frankly i thought we were depressingly poor.
He AGAIN got the midfield entirely wrong which meant we had no platform from which to play. Selecting jarvis was a risk (what precisely has he done to merit his sudden elevation ahead of Spillane (*unless the latter is injured)?) but having doen that not having any central midfielders on the bench was ridiculous. Also why the hell did dsomebody not stop Jarvis from taking corners after he had wasted the first 10 or so!
Scunthorpe United (managed by their physio) came for a point and got it easily. That is the depths to which we have sunk. If I was a board member watching that i would have been embarrassed.
