But bullying is a classic example of divergent realities. Someone behaves in a way which they genuinely do not perceive as bullying, just "joshing around". Someone else genuinely perceives that they are being bullied.

Each person is genuine and sincere in their viewpoint. Each has their own "reality".

Sometimes we need to think about how other people are perceiving things, what is real *for them*. If we always insist that *our* reality is the *only* reality we are in danger of not respecting others.
