Great post. On the injuries thing...

Is it bad luck, or something else? Take a look at this from Waggers' site:

Several things jump out at me from what Grant said. If it's true that even Man Utd or Chelsea don't prepare as much as we do, then surely we must be OVER-preparing and over-training? The latter could lead to injuries; and the former, to players having any remaining confidence or spontaneity drummed out of them by a manager continually telling them where they'd gone wrong, and what they should do.

There's also, of course, the question of whether any players might be so pissed off with him that they cry off from training or matches. After we beat Blackpool last season, and with Chelsea dead ahead, I remember PG joking that everyone was fit and raring to go that morning - whereas had it just been a league game to prepare for, it'd probably have been different.

Thing is though, would a truly united squad have this problem at all? At other clubs, players wouldn't dream of leaving their teammates to work their bollocks off while they down tools - but is it happening here?
