when its one on one he very rarely gets beaten.
He'll get beaten occasionally as all defenders invariably do in 90 minutes.
When he struggles in when it becomes 2 v 1 and no one comes to help him.
In that situation as a full back your only hope is that the oppo make the wrong choice and allow you to clear.
If they don't they'll beat you, simple as.

His delivery and attacking play isn't great, but he did get foreard sat, I seem to recall seeing him get into the box first half.
