The situation: a few ramblings
Most of this has probably been said. A few on here have said that this is like Worthy's last few games. At least under Worthy, the players kept going. How many times did we go one nil down only to keep fighing. The players dug in for Worthy and saved his job( Crewe away when McVeigh scored two). Worthy could also motivate the players and the players usually came out after half time fired up. I can remember when Green had a bad spell( Around the time we lost 4-0 to chelsea in the cup) Worthy dropped Green for a couple of games. It seems that Marshall needs the same sort of rest. The standard of football at the moment is shocking. I can remember being bored at hull up until Dion's strike and ask yourself how many times has the oppostion keeper had to make a decent save this year? Orginally, I would have been up for Warnock but as sometbody pointed out, it took him ages to get Sheff Utd up. Joe Royle or Kevin Keegan in ASAP.
