next manager should not be an ex-player or anyone
previously associated with the club. Someone with successful track record as a manager in their own right (not as a no.2) and who has had a promotion under their belt on their CV in the last season or two.
Surely this should be the basic criteria the interview panel has this time round for the new manager. Screen out the chaff.
