My ratings today

Marshall 6, Had nothing to do - could not be blamed for the goal. Looked solid.

Otsemobor 5, not as impressive as I hoped.

Doherty 7, by far our best player (and for the record - I 'm no fan of the Doc)

Murray 6, A bit too lightweigh for a central defender, but did OK.

Drury 6, Usual stuff from Drury. Nothing exceptional in either direction.

Spillane 4, meaningless booking, didn't look comfortable on the ball. Horrible game for him (a shame, really)

Rossi Jarvis 6, looked better on the ball than Spillane, but didn't create much forward.

Lappin 5, Lost the ball too much near the end. Ok set pieces, but not enough to get a decent score.

Huckerby 5, Honestly think we are better off without him. He doesn't run at the defenders any more, and in my opinion he get the team out of balance (formation-wise).

Cureton 5, no sign of him being a proven striker, but then - there weren't created much from midfield either.

Brown 4, why he is picked ahead of Strihavka is far beyond me.

Croft 6, Looked lively in the beginning. Should have started on the right in my opinion.

Strihavka 6, Looked promising

Grant 4, A total miss on formation (Cureton cannot play 4-3-3), Brown is a liability and should have been replaced on HT. Spillane should also have been sacrificed at HT.

And why cannot Grant seem to get his players to give it their best? The side who got thumped 4-0 against Wolves in '98 or 99' looked miles better than this side. A disgrace!!!
