Pride returns
We didn't deserve an extra 30 minutes, we deserved to win.
The transformation from Saturday was astonishing, the team tonight wanted to play for us, and they wanted to play for Grant.
Looking at the changes that were made, enforced though some of them were, all worked.
Murray was excellent at centre back, clearly his position, his positional sense is better than Shackell's and he can pass. He is less physical but if I were Grant I would take the decision that Doherty and Murray is the partnership for this season.
On the right Crofty was superb - but he should have shot - and Semi looks so much more of a threat with Crofty there. That's another good partnership.
In the middle Spillane was superb. He has come on a lot, and looked like what we thought we were getting with Brellier.
On the left Rossi was quiet first half I thought, but came into his own in the second.
Up front Browny worked like a Trojan - once again showed why he must start.
Overall no-one had a poor game - Russell had a poor 45 minutes, but then improved greatly.
Team for Saturday? It would be outrageous to drop anyone after that - unchanged please Granty.
