Just back from game...

Seen us play worse and win! Can't believe Samaras scored he looked very poor (are him and Brown twins?!)
Can't work Brown out - I still thin k he has the potential to be a very good player but I can't see it happening. He wins most things in the air, has decent control but (and this is a big but) he does not take up striking positions. Several times tonight we broke and Brown was still in our half leaving Cureton isloated. I do wonder if Brown scored a few he may develop more confidece but I don't think it will happen - if you could combine him with Iwan you would have one hell of a player and one very s**t one.

Croft had one of his better games but should have shot rather than crossed a few times.

Marshall played well.

Whole team did to be honest - Man City certainly didn't outclass us and they did have a lot of their main players on show. We just never looked like scoring.
