why do you think Prem teams nearly all have (or) multi-multi-milliona ire owners?

despite the fact that Prem TV money is much higher than it was when we were there? You'd think that would be enough.

I don't think most people appreciate just how expensive being in the Prem is in terms of wages etc, so the big money doesn't go anywhere near as far as most fans expect it to (as Derby fans are finding out). The fact that we basically spent all the money trying to stay there and yet most fans apparently still think we spent TOO LITTLE tells you what a totally different world it is and how far away from it clubs with our resources are.

It's all rather sad really, but you have to accept it or you might as well pack it in.
