until i saw that i thought everyone was exaggerating
now i fully understand why people are so upset. It was like we had no midfielders on the pitch, and only a couple of defenders. Every time wolves got the ball they looked like scoring, they cut through us like butter.
Grant is a bit like the managerial equivalent of Andy Hughes - great work ethic, no skill whatsoever. Of his summer signings, only Otsemebor and maybe Marshall look like improvements. Brellier is a liability if he carries on like that, Murray is worse than Doc, and Russell's not much better than he was when he left.
Of course, i haven't been to a match this season, so i can't really comment, but I feel like we need a decent manager in before christmas to save this club from division one. It might cost a lot in the short term, but it's better than the alternative. I was planning to go to the derby in November, but I might not bother unless things improve.
Thoroughly depressed by that video.
