Deeply concerned

I think its important not to panic. Having seen our fixture listI didn't expecte more than 8 points or so at this stage.

Also knew we'd lose the last two.

What worries me is the performances etc.

Grant to my mind has bought superbly. Marshall and Otsemobor are excellent, Lappin is a steal for 50k, russell has done well, Cureton and Strihavka both show promise and didn't cost the earth. Why then are we STILL so s**t.

Huckerby can't play left wing. We are ALWAYS AWFUL when he does. Its no coincidence that the period we did well in last year was with him up frony.

You can't change so many players without serious fallout. Ditto losing Safri, Etuhu and Earnshaw was an ENOURMOUS blow. We need patience and the board need to splash the cash.

We NEED at least 1 centre back. I'm actually glad in away Shacks + Dublin are both suspended as its forced the issue.

I'm very very concerned and have backed Grant to the hilt so far.

I say keep doing so until Christmas when we should be looking securely mid-table. I think that would be a real achievement and oput us ina position to crack on. AM worried though.
