Then surely thats it, his position is untenable?
Thats one of the whole points, the whole thing about management and leadership, at any level, in any profession.
If its gone, if he's lost it, how can he ever get it back again?
If he is admitting to not being able to motivate them now, it makes me wonder if he isn't thinking about packing it in himself. He sounded a defeated man in that interview, one who had nothing left to give.
