Here's an email exchange I had with a Charlton fan yesterday/this morning

Him: "Who should I watch in your mob then, apart from diving cheat Huckerby?"

Known mockingly by Spurs fan as “the Ginger Pele”, he has the turning circle of the QE2 and specialises in shirt pulling to make up for his lack of pace and positional awareness. Guaranteed to give you a free kick on the edge of the area, and/or a penalty, and/or get sent off."

This morning

Him "You weren't wrong about Docherty, were you?"

Me "Fuck off"
