unfortunate incidents at the valley
Charlton, having conspired to do everything possible to earn us a point were out done by a City side determined to gift them 3 points; or as Oscar Wilde might have put it, to lose one penalty is unfortunate, to lose two is sheer foolishness.[admittedly, an assist from the referee on the second one didn't help]
As if this wasn't bad enough, the man of the match,up to this point, decides to poke the hapless Mills in the eye and no doubt get himself banned for 3 matches. Dion my love what were you thinking? The less said about young Huckerby, the better. In my opinion the ref should have booked Dublin and sent off Huckerby.
Nevertheless, a stirring display which deserved a better result, and had we had our two best forwards on from the start, it could have been all so different

- Wild lunge at Twatty Mills. The only reason he didn't see red was because he missed. (n/m) (NCFC) - Ottosson Foxtrot, Sep 19, 00:26:19
