A few thoughts on game................ .........

…………You would imagine at this level one of the basic requirements would be to , receive and control the ball, look up and pass to someone wearing the same coloured shirt as yourself. I am sad to say that on tonight’s evidence we were unable to do this. First half we were woeful………really really woeful.
Players looked nervous. I think this was due to Grant spending the 90 minutes screaming and shouting orders. Leaving the players no room for creativity. He may as well fit them with an electronic device and remotely control them from the touchline.

Unable to grasp some of the most basic concepts of defence. The back line refusing to push forward once the ball is cleared. Hence the ball is pumped back into the 18 yards area again and again………..and again.

Second half there was an improvement but still poor. Big Dave, why was he not brought on with twenty minutes to go ? At this point we were winning a lot of ball, and could have nicked it against run of play. Feel sorry for him. Came on with three minutes remaining and 2-0 down. Christ !
