Yeah but it's the bit between

young and old. If you assume young starts at 18 (ignoring the rest as childhood) and old nowdays is posible even 70 rather than 65 it makes sense.
It depends mainly on the individual. I've seen many "old" 30 year olds and some very young 65's.
