how much would it cost to have a tradesman come out and paint a wall?
4 metres long by however high walls are. I had to go to the shop, buy paint, but a brush, buy a roller, buy a roller tray thing, buy some colour to put in the paint, buy masking tape, find a stick to stir colour in paint, find cloth to wipe up paint on carpet left by stick, put masking tape on skirting board and door edges and sides of wall, paint edges with brush, attach roller to broomstick with masking tape to reach top of wall, get chair to reach top of wall as masking tape was too flimsy to hold roller to broomstick, rub paint of chair, find binbag and put over chair to protect from paint, fall off chair due to slippery binbag, clean up spilt paint that I fell on. It's a bit of a pain in the arse DIY to be honest.
