Hi BC...

Cheers mate. Prognosis quite positive, the surgeon told me that all of the lymph glands that he removed were either "dead", "burnt" or both-the good bit about that (other than the fact the radiotherapy seemed to have 'melted' the inside of my neck!) is that they are pretty confident no recalcitrant cells will be, or would be, alive and capable of doing their thing in dead tissue.

They've taken biopsies, but are fairly confident that the results will be good, just waiting on them.

My right ear is so numb you could probably hammer a nail through it and I wouldn't feel a thing-party trick there maybe? Neck a little convex and red raw, but healing OK thus far and scarring should be minimal.

Long way from March, when, just as I started the RT the Oncologist gave me "about five-six weeks" if I didn't have the treatment "NOW!!!".
